The Druid Underground Film Festival acts as a traveling clearinghouse for the most bizarre and provocative short films on earth. Six years and 35 screenings later, DUFF is still going strong, going weird and forging into ever deeper morasses of shocking creativity. The Druid Underground Short Film Festival has been a brutally independent force lurking in the most creative recesses of the contemporary Los Angeles artscape.

“Unlike other film festivals, Druid is a true ‘underground’ endeavor in that there are no corporate sponsors, no trust fund hipsters to donate capital, no financial profit is made from the fest- none. Everyone involved in the festival is a dedicated volunteer- from booking venues to working the door. Any donation from the public goes right back into basic operation and promotion costs.
