Hailing from the north coast of Humboldt county, Lik we fi; like the county we live in tend to do their own thing regardless of trends…Likwefi-phonetical spelling of liquefy means to become water and essentially we love to soak the atmosphere with energy wherever we play. We play as a 3 piece power trio inspired by lifes moody twisted events. We’ve been playing experimental electronic organic life soundtrack music since 2004. Lik we fi prides itself on being a band that comes together for greater causes’ than just the music itself and have made it a priority to be available to participate in benefits and events for environmental causes and community fundraisers such as illness in the community, skate parks , ocean awareness etc. Plus playing weddings, memorial, funerals, art shows, surf movie premiers, and the occasional bar gig and party. We also have been honored to play as Matt Beard’s (master surf artist-check his work!) art gallery/show band… traveling the state playing surf board shows and art shows… avid surfers and californians by birth—we just want to chill and be part of good vibes and make people move, think and feel alive!
